Jennie Champion MD



        Jennie Champion completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in English at Tufts University in Somerville, Massachusetts. She returned to her native Vermont for both medical school at the Larner College of Medicine and Pediatrics Residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Dr. Champion completed her 3 year fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at Boston Children’s Hospital in 2008 and moved out to Oregon for work shortly thereafter. She is Board Certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care.

         Dr. Champion serves as the clinical director of the Randall Children’s Hospital KIDS Team, a group of specially trained nurses and respiratory therapists responsible for transporting critically ill children throughout Oregon.  She also co-directs the Respiratory Core Committee, assisting in the optimization of all varieties of breathing therapies administered within Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel.

        When not working, Dr. Champion enjoys knitting, snowboarding, and spending time with her family and their 4 English Shepherds.
