Dr. Hasson completed both her undergraduate and medical school education at the University of Maryland. She then went on to complete her pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins University and her pediatric critical care fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Dr. Hasson is passionate about patient safety and quality improvement. She contributes to the optimization of emergency responses at Randall Children’s Hospital by serving on the Pediatric Code Blue Committee. She has also partnered with Solutions for Patient Safety to implement guidelines to prevent hospital acquired blood clots. Her interest in coagulation has resulted in several publications regarding heparin and heparin alternatives.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Hasson enjoys road biking, Orangetheory, watching bad reality TV, and, above all, spending time with her husband and son.
