Dr. Buchholz is passionate to serve those is need, seeks challenges and enjoys teamwork and determination.

 

After completing undergraduate studies at Carroll College in Helena, Montana,  Medical School at University of Washington in Seattle and subsequent Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship in Denver, Dr. Buchholz completed the MBA program focusing on non-profit management at the University of Portland.

 

Dr. Buchholz is proud to be a founding member of Legacy Healthy Partners Board of Directors and a past Finance and Contracting chair.    He is an active researcher publishing articles demonstrating efficiency of family rounds and advanced practitioners in the Pediatric ICU.  Currently he is actively practicing in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Emergency Department at Randall Children’s Hospital

 

Outside of medicine, Dr. Buchholz enjoys running, biking, auto mechanics and web design while spending time with family.  If not at a volleyball tournament, you may find him helping with his wife’s ice cream business, skiing on Mt Hood or reading books.  His favorite book is “The Boys in the Boat” by Daniel James Brown.
